Give your routine an Autumn Makeover

Have you set yourself goals for the new month?

Perhaps you’re thinking about giving your routine a bit of an Autumn makeover? There’s nothing like a new month and a new season to make me want to freshen things up. If you’re the same I have a bunch of tools for you in The Happiness Habits Transformation including the eight happiness habits that I used to create my own daily productive and fulfilling routine that I still use to this day.

“If you consciously create some space in your day, add a sprinkle of the happiness habits that work for you and build them into a routine that YOU can stick to, you might just surprise yourself by becoming the most positive, powerful and productive version of yourself you’ve ever known.”

Perhaps you’re super excited about getting started on your new goals. But if you’re anything like me, you mind find that FEAR setting in already… appropriate for Halloween month, but not helpful for our dreams!

Here's the thing friends, there's a gap between where we are and where we want to get to, and that gap? That's where fear hangs out. Here’s what the conversation sounds like in my head at the moment…

Goal: I can't wait to get started!
Fear: What if you're not ready yet?
Goal: I can do this!
Fear: What if you fail?
Goal: I know what I want and I have a plan!
Fear: What if that's not enough?

But that fear tells us something else too... it tells us we’re on the right track. Because it tells us we’re stepping out of our comfort zone and into that shiny space where we GROW.

So don't fear the fear. Instead, let’s tell it "thank you for offering to keep me safe but I'm going to be just fine because I know that whatever happens, I have the determination to deliver, the power to pivot, and the bravery to back myself 100%"

Happy October, friends!
