Book Cover Reveal!

One of my favourite things is creating images to promote my books but I have to admit I’ve been panicking a bit about the cover design for my new children’s book series set in Minecraft. The cover has such an important role in encouraging someone to pick up the book (or more likely to click-to-buy these days).

So I decided to leave it to my followers on social media to pick the final image and I’m delighted with the one they chose!

Here is the final design for RESCUE QUEST, Book One:

I love this cover because it has a lot of elements from the story, including Tom, a huge Minecraft spider, the ender dragon and a plate of cookies (you’ll have to read it to find out why!).

Here’s a brief synopsis of the story:

Tom is weak, bullied and the smallest boy at school. But when his beloved little sister Alice vanishes into his favourite video game, he must overcome his fears and find the courage he never knew he had, on a daring quest to rescue her from inside the magical world of Minecraft itself. With high-stakes, non-stop action and awesome potion-making, Rescue Quest is perfect for readers aged 8-12 who love playing Minecraft and getting lost in thrilling fantasy worlds.

You might also notice that I’ve had a bit of a makeover here on my website too… I felt it was time that my online space reflected my new focus for the coming year. While I’ll still be selling my non-fiction book The Happiness Habits Transformation, I’ll be prioritising my new fiction books and working on books two and three in the Rescue Quest series.
